**PHILOSOPHY OF QUANTUM COMPUTATION**
*XXIII International Summer School in Philosophy of Physics*
15-18 June 2020, Urbino, Italy
**Call for Participation**
We invite to participate in the XXIII International Summer School in
Philosophy of Physics to be held in Urbino 15th-18th June 2020.
The topic of the school is “Philosophy of Quantum Computation” and it will
feature lectures given by *Michael Cuffaro* (Munich Center for Mathematical
Philosophy) and *Roberto Giuntini* (University of Cagliari),
with afternoon seminars given by *David Vitali* (University of
Macerata)*, **Gustavo
Martin Bosyk* (University of Cagliari), and *Rossella Lupacchini* (University
of Bologna).

The School will host a limited number of students, graduate students and
early researchers depending on a successful application.
Application emails should include:
1) A cover letter
2) A CV

DEADLINE: April 5, 2020.
The subject line of application emails should be “Participation XXIII
Summer School in Philosophy of Physics”
Notification of acceptance is expected no later than April 23, 2020.
Accepted participants must transfer 70.00 Euros to SILFS before May 15,
2020.

Lunch and dinner will be available at the university refectory. If you want
to have lunch/dinner there the cost is about 10.00 Euros for each meal. If

to find very cheap rooms in the neighborhood.

**Call for Papers**
We wish to offer three young researchers in Philosophy of Quantum
Computation the opportunity to test their skills by presenting their
original papers to the other participants of the School. Three sessions of
the School will be devoted to these presentations: interested graduate
students, postgraduates and early researchers are invited to submit an
abstract (no longer than 1000 words) suitable for blind review to
cirfis.scuolaestiva at gmail.com no later than April 5, 2020.
The subject line should read: “Submission to the XXIII Summer School in
Philosophy of Physics”. Papers (without the authors' data) should be sent
as pdf files together with a title page containing info about the author(s)
and highlighting the corresponding speaker.
Notification of acceptance is expected no later than April 23, 2020.
Attendance to the XXIII Summer School in Philosophy of Physics is free for
the selected speakers. In the case of presentations with multiple authors,
the attendance to the School is free only for one speaker (the
corresponding speaker).
Please note that only the attendance to the School is free for the
speakers: accommodation, lunch and dinner are not included.
