FOM: apology; request for summary

I apologize for saying "blather".  

I certainly don't want to suppress discussion of issues like
meaningfulness/vagueness of CH.  On the other hand, I don't think the
recent spate of almost 40 messages on this topic has been very
illuminating.  Would one or more of the principals care to provide a
summary of what these 40 messages have accomplished or clarified, what
questions are on the table, etc.?  Perhaps Sol or Neil or Torkel could
do this.
